Teach at Regis University - Las Vegas

Thank you for your interest in joining the faculty at Regis University-Las Vegas. All faculty for Las Vegas are part-time affiliates---working professionals in their disciplines by day and teaching in our accelerated programs in the evenings. It is part of our educational philosophy to provide instruction by faculty who are actively working in the field in which they teach. Classes are taught one night per week from 6:00-10:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 - 12:30 p.m. in either 5-week, 8-week, or 16-week formats.

Regis Las Vegas offers more than 25 classroom-based bachelor's and master's degree programs in business, education, humanities, liberal arts, marriage & family therapy and social science. As an out-of-state satellite of our main campus in Denver, Colorado, Regis Las Vegas does not offer every Denver degree program. Applicants are considered based upon local program needs. Please see the Degree Program page on this website for detailed information on Regis Las Vegas program offerings.

Inquiries are reviewed by the appropriate department chairs at our main campus in Denver, Colorado. Those deemed acceptable will be contacted for a phone interview by the department chair or lead faculty member as well as being interviewed by Las Vegas staff members. Selected candidates are then invited to participate in a local on-site faculty assessment, held at least twice yearly on Saturday mornings.

Those who successfully pass faculty assessment are then certified to teach specific Regis courses by department chairs at the main campus. Finally, new affiliates must attend New Faculty Orientation and work with a faculty mentor before being offered a teaching assignment in the local classroom.
